About the taluka
Mulshi lies to the west of Pune. Its eastern edge holds Hinjewadi, one of the biggest IT parks in India. The western part is hilly and green, with the large Mulshi lake, which feeds a Tata hydro power station.

- The Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park at Hinjewadi.
- Mulshi dam and Tamhini Ghat, very popular in the monsoon.
