What information PuneDiary collects, why, and how we look after it.
This policy explains what information PuneDiary.Com collects and how we use it. PuneDiary is run by World Web Solutions, Pune.
Reading the site
You can read PuneDiary without an account. Like most websites, our server keeps basic logs (such as the address of your device and the pages you open) to keep the site safe and working. We may use a visitor statistics tool to see which pages are popular. We do not sell this information.
When you log in
To add a business or post a classified ad, you log in with your email. We send a one-time code to that email. We keep your name and email so you can manage your listings and so we can contact you about them.
Business listings
The business details you add (name, address, phone, WhatsApp, email, website, timings, logo and photos) are shown to the public on PuneDiary once the listing is approved. Please add only details you are happy to publish.
Classified ads
The details in your ad (title, description, price, area, photos, contact name, phone and WhatsApp number) are shown to the public while the ad is live, usually for 30 days. Expired ads are no longer shown on the site.
Find my account
If you use Find my account, we look for your mobile number in the listings and ads on PuneDiary. We show the email of a matching account only in a hidden form, such as pr****@gmail.com, and send the login code to that email.
Forms
When you send an enquiry to a business or about a classified ad, we pass your name, phone, email and message to that business or to the person who posted the ad, and keep a copy. When you use our Contact or Advertise form, we keep your message so we can reply. We store the address of your device with each message to fight spam.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies that the site needs to work, for example to keep you logged in and to protect forms. Advertisers and statistics tools may set their own cookies.
We may show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalised ads in Google's Ads Settings.
Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to stop spam. It sends some information about your device and how you use the page to Google. The Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only as described above, or when the law requires it.
Your choices
You can edit your listings and ads from your dashboard at any time. To delete your account or a listing, or to ask what information we hold about you, please contact us.
Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page.
