About the taluka
Khed taluka lies north of Pune. Its headquarters town was called Khed, and was renamed Rajgurunagar in honour of the revolutionary Shivram Hari Rajguru, who was born here and was hanged with Bhagat Singh and Sukhdev in 1931.
