- An old Shiva temple near the lake below the fort.
- In late May and early June, many fireflies light up the forest at night.
How to reach
From Lonavala a long trail leads to Rajmachi, about four to five hours on foot, or part of the way by four-wheel drive in the dry season. From the Karjat side there is a steeper climb from Kondivade village.
Tips for visitors
- Most people stay overnight with families in Udhewadi village. Book ahead.
