About
The Chaturshrungi temple is dedicated to the goddess Chaturshrungi, the goddess of the four peaks. It stands on a hillside, and visitors climb steps to reach the main shrine. Smaller shrines stand on the same hill.
Navratri
During Navratri a large fair is held at the foot of the hill, with lakhs of visitors over the nine days. The road around the temple is closed or controlled on these days.
How to reach
The temple is on Senapati Bapat Road, close to Shivajinagar and the University. Buses and autos come to the gate.
