About the garden

Lumbini Garden opened in 2011 and takes its name and theme from Lumbini in Nepal, the birthplace of Gautam Buddha. Sculptures along the paths show important moments from the Buddha's life, and a large bronze statue gives the garden a calm, thoughtful mood.
