About the garden
The Mughal Garden on Sinhagad Road is modelled on the Mughal Gardens of Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi, now called Amrit Udyan. It is laid out symmetrically, the way Mughal gardens always are, with lawns on terraces, water channels, fountains and straight walkways.
It is close to the Pu La Deshpande Garden, so the two make a good evening outing together.
What you can see
- Colourful fountains that are lit up after dark. The evening is the best time to visit.
- A carved red sandstone building with jharokha-style screens.
- Terraced lawns, water channels and long straight walkways.

How to reach
The garden is on Sinhagad Road, near the Pu La Deshpande (Okayama) Garden. Buses and autos on Sinhagad Road stop close by.
Timings and fees are set by the Pune Municipal Corporation and can change. Please check before a special visit.
