About the garden
Kamala Nehru Park was laid out in 1956 and is named after Kamala Nehru, wife of India's first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Over the years it has grown into a leafy, quiet park in the middle of the Deccan Gymkhana and Erandwane area.
