National, 17th November 2022: Pi Green Innovations Pvt Ltd, India’s leading Cleantech start-up, has been granted the Type Approval certificate from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) approved lab for its “Carbon Cutter Machine” – Retrofit Emission Control Device (RECD). The Hon’ble National Green Tribunal (NGT) issued an order in 2019 to reduce Particulate Matter from DG sets by 70% from existing levels, based on which the CPCB evolved standards and norms for in-use DG sets below the 800kW category. Pi Green Innovations’ certified RECD is one major step to achieving such an ambitious goal. This certification validates Pi Green’s Carbon Cutter technology and allows the Company to carve a niche for itself within the industry.

As many as 35 of the 50 cities with the worst air quality were in India, with New Delhi continuing to be the world’s most polluted capital city for the fourth consecutive year in 2021, according to the World Air Quality Report, prepared by Swiss organization IQAir. The National Clean Air Programme (NCAP) launched in 2018 was designed to combat the rising concern of air pollution. Furthermore, it was found that pollution created by Diesel Generator (DG) sets needs to be addressed on an immediate basis.

The certification system and procedure released by CPCB is a comprehensive and fully encompassing procedure document covering requirements of advanced onboard diagnostics and operator warning systems ensuring certified RECDs are fit and effective in reducing the harmful PM 2.5 and PM 10 emissions when installed on DG sets. The CPCB testing parameters and performance of RECD such as aged RECD back pressure also ensured that the certified RECD will not have any adverse impact on the working of the DG sets over its lifetime. Pi Green Innovation’s RECD product – Carbon Cutter is awarded ‘Type 1’ certification which validates its superiority over Type-2 RECD products which increase secondary emissions such as NO2.

Dr. Prachiti Punde will be representing India for Mrs. Universe 2022 to be held in South Korea’s capital Seoul in July. She has won many other pageants such as “Mrs. India 2020”, “Mrs. Pune 2019”, and “Mrs universe Australasia” in December 2021.

Talking about her journey she said, “I am a girl from a small town who came to Pune to pursue MBBS and then started my life coaching firm ‘Prachiti Kokoro Preaches’ which is based on a spiritual and scientific study that helped people build a rock-solid foundation through self-mastery which was essential for the quality and longevity of a human being.”

Dr. Prachiti established her firm in 2008 and helped more than five thousand women and girls to get confident and independent in life. She has also worked in many Fashion design colleges as a faculty member and is certified in more than 13 life coaching courses like CBT, Mindfulness, and NLP after her prolonged studies in Psychology and health.

She was interested in social work from her childhood, and her parents inspired her to have consistency in her life. Dr. Prachiti said, “If a person attains self-mastery, then it builds a rock-solid foundation from childhood, as a child, we have 12 areas so there is no need to work on all the foundations. If your foundation is strong your professional, personal, and financial life will go on at a normal pace.”

She has taken more than 300 workshops and seminars in different colleges and written nine books on self-mastery. Dr. Prachiti has been involved in a lot of social activities for women’s empowerment and has been awarded many awards. She was also honored by “skilling India” in 2017.

She said that her spirituality helps her a lot in her journey because people used to tell her that they like her Aura and she has the quality of handling success. Her success in life also helps her in branding herself and helps her in establishing her NGO and firm.

She said that she prepared for Mrs. Universe so that her voice can be heard by people which will help her in social work. Talking about her city, Dr. Prachiti said, “I belong from a very conservative city Karmala, where I used to wear decent clothing at first and treat patients as a doctor. When a girl from such a small city decides to start modeling, it is a big decision but eventually, hundreds of women in the city get influenced and inspired by me and feel proud.”

Supriya won the title amongst 33 Contestants in her category after 3 different rounds. These rounds included grueling tasks of grooming, mentoring, and performance sessions that also included negative marking spanning across various days until the Finale. Former Mrs. World & Bollywood actress Aditi Govitrikar graced the show as a celebrity jury.

Supriya was born and brought up in Nashik. After her father suffered huge losses in business, Supriya completed her education with her extended family’s support.  With a knack for dancing, singing, and acting as a kid, she performed at school, college, and social functions and a prestigious group belonging to Padmashree Shaher Sable called Maharashtra Lokdhara Group. After completing her Engineering from Pune University, she left Nashik permanently and challenged her patriarchal upbringing by landing a job in Pune. With 12 years spent in the IT industry, she finally decided to pursue her passion in the Entertainment industry post marriage and motherhood.

Supriya comments on winning Mrs. Maharashtra, “As an IT professional, I was completely drowned in work and had no connection to the Beauty Industry. However, I always had an Inner Calling to try something in the Entertainment Industry. The show was enhanced by the students of NIEM who gave a mesmerizing performance. There were special performances by students of DMAX Dance Studio. The show which was hosted by Hugo D’Souza and DJ Abhishek was the official Disco Jockey. The sleekness and the pace of the show have increased the expectations for the next season.
