History
St. Mary's Church was built for the British troops of the Poona Cantonment and was consecrated in 1825. It is one of the oldest churches in the Deccan. Inside are many memorial plaques to soldiers and their families from the nineteenth century.

The church is an active parish. Visit outside service times and dress modestly.
