Three Indian Student Teams Selected for the Asia Pacific Junior Achievement International Trade Challenge Competition

Over 450 students participated in the Indian FedEx / Junior Achievement International Trade Challenge Competition

India, Mumbai, July 12, 2021 – FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp (NYSE: FDX) and the world’s largest express transportation company, together with t/GELF Junior Achievement (JA) India, launched the first FedEx/JA International Trade Challenge Competition for India. The competition recognizes student-run businesses that best exhibit the principles of global connectivity.

Taking place from May to July 2021, the phased competition featured a series of virtual workshops attracting more than 450 students from 25 schools across India. The workshops included interactive learning sessions, inspirational talks, and interactions with mentors from FedEx, tGELF/JA India, and industry experts addressing logistics, finance, and global trade.

The three student teams identified to participate at the regional level are Springdales School, New Delhi, Learning Paths School, Mohali, and Padma Sheshadri Bala Bhavan Senior Secondary School, Chennai, and will represent India in the Asia Pacific International Trade Challenge Competition in August.
