SKF India (Industrial), the Pune-based maker of bearings, seals and industrial solutions, has appointed Nilesh Vaidya as Head of Seals for its ISEA region, which covers India and Southeast Asia. The company announced the appointment in Pune on 26 October 2026.
His role
Demand for high-performance seals is growing across key industries in the region. Nilesh Vaidya will lead the growth of SKF India (Industrial)'s seals business, with a focus on winning more market share, building sales channels, working closely with key customers and building strong teams across different markets.
Speaking about his new role, he said his priority is to strengthen SKF's position in the seals market across India and Southeast Asia by getting closer to customers, deepening partnerships with key accounts and strengthening the channels that bring SKF's expertise to local needs.

Nilesh Vaidya has nearly 25 years of leadership experience in industrial manufacturing, process automation and water technologies, with a record of growing businesses across India and Southeast Asia.
- Most recently, he was Managing Director of GF Piping Systems in Jakarta, Indonesia, leading its business in mining, industrial utilities and building technologies.
- Before that, he spent nearly seven years at Danaher Corporation, as Director, Business Development for South ASEAN in its Water Quality Platform, and in leadership roles at Hach India.
- He worked for over a decade at Sandvik Coromant.
- He began his career at Pune's Kirloskar Oil Engines.
