दिवाळीच्या सुट्टीत मुलांना इतिहास प्रत्यक्ष दाखवण्याची संधी आहे. सारसबाग येथील स्व. बाळासाहेब ठाकरे कलादालनात शिवकालीन शस्त्रांचे प्रदर्शन भरले असून ते 11 नोव्हेंबरपर्यंत सर्वांसाठी मोफत खुले आहे. शुक्रवारी, 6 नोव्हेंबर 2026 रोजी प्रदर्शनाचे उद्घाटन झाले.

काय पाहता येईल
शिवगर्जना मर्दानी आखाड्याच्या संग्रहातील 250 हून अधिक शस्त्रे येथे मांडली आहेत. यात तलवार, भाला, तोफ आणि तोफगोळे, वाघनखे, चिलखत, कट्यार, सांग, ढाल, बारुदान (दारू ठेवण्याचे पात्र), दांडपट्टा, शमशेर आणि बिचवा यांचा समावेश आहे. प्रत्येक शस्त्राची माहिती फलकांवर दिली आहे.
शाळकरी विद्यार्थी आणि नागरिकांनी प्रदर्शनाला भेट द्यावी, असे आवाहन आयोजक शिव कामगार सेनेने केले आहे.

A free exhibition of more than 250 weapons from the time of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is open at the Late Balasaheb Thackeray Kaladalan, Saras Baug, Pune, till 11 November 2026, daily from 10 am to 10 pm. It shows swords, spears, a cannon and cannonballs, wagh nakh, armour, katyar, shields, dandpatta, shamsher, bichwa and gunpowder flasks from the collection of Shivgarjana Mardani Akhada. It opened on Friday 6 November and is a good Diwali holiday outing for school students and families.
