History
Nana Phadnavis was the chief minister of the Peshwas in the late eighteenth century and one of the sharpest statesmen of his time. He built this wada in the 1780s, close to Shaniwar Wada, the seat of the Peshwas.
In later years the wada was used for public purposes, including a school and offices. Its old front has been restored.

- The restored front of a large Peshwa-era wada, with carved wood and arched openings.
- Courtyards in the traditional style. Check which parts are open to visitors.

Nana Wada is in Budhwar Peth, a short walk from Shaniwar Wada.
