Christmas and Eid in Camp
The Camp area celebrates both festivals in style: midnight mass and plum cakes at Christmas, and the lanes around East Street on Eid.

The Camp area, the old Cantonment, has been home to Christian, Muslim, Parsi, Jewish and Hindu communities for nearly two hundred years. During Ramzan, the lanes near the mosques of Camp and the old city come alive in the evenings with food stalls, and on Eid families visit each other with sheer khurma.
