It was 1 am on Saturday. A young actress was waiting for a rickshaw/cab in front of Balgandharva auditorium in Shivajinagar to go home after her play was performed, but she did not get a vehicle for a long time.

The play “Moruchi Mavshi” starring famous actor Bharat Jadhav was staged at Balgandharva Rangmandir on Saturday night in which Nityashree is playing the part of Bharat’s lover named ‘Sandhya’. The play ended at midnight.

After the play got over, all the artists left after having a meal. The next day, as the play was being performed in Pune again, all the other actors were going to stay in a hotel. As Nityashree lives in Karvenagar, she hurriedly ate her food and decided to go home. She booked an ola cab, but it was canceled. So she waited for the rickshaw. But again there was no rickshaw in the dead of the night.

The Jangali Maharaj (JM) road was quiet. At that moment, something unexpected happened just like some incident in a movie or a series. Unexpectedly, there was an “entry” of real “heroes” for “that” night. Yes, they are the real heroes for the people of Pune. The police saw a young woman standing on the street and stopped their vehicle in front of her.

Police Inspector (Crime) Sanjay Mogle of Deccan Gymkhana police station, who was on night patrol in the vehicle, was accompanied by police personnel Sharad Gore and Ramdas Gadre. Mogal got out of the car and asked Nityashree about the situation. They immediately started looking for rickshaws for Nityashree. As they could not get any rickshaw, Inspector Mogal requested Nithyashree to get in the police vehicle.

Accordingly, Nityashree sat in the vehicle. After going some distance, the cops saw a rickshaw and asked the driver to take her home. Not only this, but the police also note down the number of the rickshaw and all the details of the driver.

Meanwhile, Nityashree was experiencing the same thing as in a movie, but when she was leaving, Nityashree was tempted to capture this moment of pride and security on her mobile. Nityashree took a selfie with the policemen and saluted their work and in a short time, Nityashree reached her house safely. Meanwhile, after Nityashree shared this experience on social media, the police got appreciated for their work and humanity.

There is less appreciation for the police. I am originally from Mumbai but I stay in both cities. So the experience was great. Rather than being an actress but as a human being, the experience I got was really spectacular. That’s why I called Sanjay Mogle again and thanked him”, said Nityashree.
