Shyam Global Techno Ventures Pvt. Ltd. has its plant and headquarters in Pune and a branch office in Mumbai has built a state-of-the-art plant for manufacturing world-class genetics, where high productivity requires superior fuel systems, and low exhaust emissions, said Narendra Goyal, the president of SGTPL here today.

He said that the SGTPL has gensets that meet the needs of customers and the large requirements required in the spectrum industry and others sectors.

This company also manufactures high-quality, long-lasting, and low-maintenance generators. Mahendra Powerol is mostly used in construction, hospital, industry school, petrol pump, telecom, and crushing industries Added Mr. Goyal.

This new manufacturing facility was inaugurated by Hemant Sikka (President, FES, Powerol Business Mahindra & Mahindra), Sanjay Jain (Business Head, Powerol), Narendra Goyal (Director, Shyam Global Technoventures Private Limited), and other representatives of Mahindra were present on occasion.

Mumbai, January 27, 2021: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. today announced that despite various global supply chain challenges faced by the Auto industry, it has met its commitment of billing the first 14000 XUV700s by January 2022. It also announced that the XUV700 has clocked almost 1,00,000 bookings since its commencement on 7^th October 2021. Upon completion, it will be the fastest for an SUV to reach the 1 Lakh booking milestone in India. The XUV700 has also been able to attract newer segments with many first-time buyers for the brand. It has further strengthened the Mahindra Automatic and Petrol offerings with ~60% and ~35% of the bookings coming in for these variants respectively. 

The company also stated that, while the dynamic supply chain issues continue to be a challenge in streamlining and ramping up production, it is doing its best and focusing on meeting its committed delivery timelines to customers. Given the unprecedented bookings and the continued strong demand for the XUV 700, the waiting period for a majority of the variants stands at 6-10 months, while the AX7 series has a waiting period of well over 12 months.

Mumbai, November 10, 2021: Mahindra surpassed its own safety records and secured a 5-star Global NCAP rating for XUV700. It has the highest combined safety score (Adult + Child) of 57.69 out of a total of 66.00, among the Indian vehicles tested so far by Global NCAP which makes XUV700 the safest Indian vehicle and the first full-size 7-seater SUV in the country to receive 5-Star Rating. As a part of the #SaferCarsForIndia campaign, it has achieved an adult score of 16.03 out of 17.00. It has also secured a child safety score of 41.66 out of 49.00, the highest among all the vehicles in India tested by Global NCAP so far. The official Global NCAP test for the Mahindra XUV700 was conducted in Germany in October 2021.

While XUV700 is known for its performance and capability, it is now acknowledged as India’s safest vehicle on road based on the scores given by Global NCAP.

Mumbai, October 20, 2021: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. today announced that it has clocked 65000 bookings for the XUV700 in two weeks since its commencement on 7th October 2021. The deliveries for Petrol variants will start from 30th October 2021 and Diesel variant deliveries will begin from the last week of November.
Mahindra has partnered with one of the top 3 global consulting companies to devise and implement an algorithm-based process. The objective is to streamline the delivery process for customers, based on a combination of parameters which include, the quantum of bookings at the city and dealer level, the ratio of online and bookings at dealer counters, and variant-level production feasibility based on supply chain constraints. The delivery timelines will be communicated to customers by their respective dealerships starting 27th October 2021 for both petrol and diesel variants. This date may change, depending on the prevailing global supply chain scenario. The XUV700 was booked out two days in a row between 7th and 8th October 2021 with 25000 bookings on each day. Overall, an unprecedented 50000 bookings were clocked in just under three hours. In early October, the XUV700 also achieved two record-breaking milestones. The XUV700 broke the National 24-hour Endurance Record at the Mahindra SUV Proving Track (MSPT) organized by EVO India, wherein all four XUV700s that entered the challenge recorded over 4000 km at an average speed
range of 170-180 km/h. It is now the first SUV to break the record, under the stringent regulations of the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India and it is validated by the India Book of Records. XUV700 is also the first Made-in-India vehicle to conquer the highest motorable road in the world at Umling La in the Ladakh region, done in partnership with car and bike along with Auto Today. Bookings are currently open for all customers, through both platforms i.e., online and the nearest dealerships for which, prices at the time of delivery will prevail.

While the new Mahindra Mahavator can be used in all kinds of soil conditions, it is specially designed for hard soils and to deal with hard crop residues like that of sugarcane and cotton. It can efficiently crush soil clods and finely pulverize soil for healthy plant growth. Mumbai and London, June 11, 2021:  The Mahindra Group today announced the appointment of Pratap Bose as the Executive Vice President and Chief Design Officer to lead its newly formed Global Design organization. The new Global Design organization renews Mahindra’s commitment to reshaping the future of mobility by designing and developing dynamically engineered next-generation authentic products with global appeal.

The Global Design organization will comprise the recently announced Mahindra Advanced Design Europe (M.A.D.E), which is being set up in Coventry in the West Midlands, U.K, and the existing Mahindra India Design Studio (M.I.D.S). The Global Design Organization will harness the world-class talent pool and expand its global technology footprint.

In this role, Pratap will be responsible for both M.A.D.E and M.I.D.S and will oversee the design of all key business segments such as authentic SUVs including Born Electric Vehicle (BEV), LCV products (under <3.5 T), Last Mile Mobility (LMM), Large CVs, Peugeot Scooters (France) and Tractors & Farm Machines. Pratap will join on June 24, 2021, and will report to Rajesh Jejurikar, Executive Director, Auto, and Farm Sectors, Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd.

Pratap is an alumnus of Royal College of Art, London, and the National Institute of Design, India. He brings with him over 20 years of rich global automotive design experience. His last assignment has been with Tata Motors in the UK where he spent 14 years. Earlier he had worked in Piaggio, Italy, and Daimler Chrysler, Japan.

Speaking about the announcement, Rajesh Jejurikar, Executive Director, Auto, and Farm Sectors, Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd., said, “We are at an inflection point in our Auto and Farm Sectors growth journey as we accelerate our transformative initiatives. Our robust pipeline of 23 new products that will be launched in the next five years would bring our design and advanced engineering capability across automotive, farm equipment, and two-wheelers to the fore. Having Pratap on the team will strengthen our design capability, enhance our products and widen our customer base. We are very excited to welcome him on board and look forward to writing a new chapter in Mahindra’s rich product legacy.”
